This is my blog for musings and notes about my professional life. You're not going to find anything that relates directly to whatever company I may work for (sorry, no insider info!), but you will find plenty of technical notes about web development, as well as more general musings about web design, commerce, and technology and how it relates to a business as a whole.
A bit about me! I am a young professional female working as a web developer and am currently obtaining my MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems. I work with ASP.Net for the most part (in its various incarnations), and probably have about equal experience with C# and VBScript. Do I have a preference? Actually, I don't. I think both languages have their advantages and disadvantages, and neither weigh out the other enough to develop a strong preference.) I also work with Classic ASP quite a bit, and I DO have a preference between .Net and classic... .Net, no contest. I have some knowledge about web hosting, though not a ton... this is an area I'd love to work on and improve my knowledge in. I also have some general business knowledge. Unlike many people I've known in IT (no, it's not JUST a stereotype), I am fairly good at translating between what a business person says they want for their site, and what they are actually looking for.
My personal interests and hobbies range across the board: rock climbing, video games, writing, political theory, economics, music/tv/movies, reading about as much as I can get my hands on, and enjoying the company of good friends.
